West Ham United are interested in signing Moussa Marega from Porto this summer, per Record.
What’s the word?
Marega has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, and reports in May, again from Record via the Daily Mail, claimed that the striker was likely to move to the Hammers this summer.
That deal did not seem to come to fruition but it now appears that the Irons have reignited their interest.
Record now claim that Marega has a €35m (£31.3m) release clause in his contract, with the Hammers joined in their interest by Wolves and Aston Villa.
The Mali international scored 21 goals in 47 outings in 2018/19, while also laying on 11 assists.

Move on to new targets
West Ham need to let this link die.
Marega has no real pedigree whatsoever; he scored just 11 times in Liga NOS this season and is not the kind of striker the Hammers need.
Of course, one feels that at least one forward does need to be signed this summer – Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez have both left the club – but bringing in a sporadic goalscorer from a league that does not guarantee quality simply doesn’t make sense.
Marega, after all, is 28 and is probably already past his peak. Bringing in a younger alternative makes a lot more sense.
The Irons should simply pull out gracefully and allow Wolves and Villa to fight over a player who, really, is below them.
