December 21, 2019 will be a day that Dara O’Shea remembers forever.
Indeed, the 20-year-old made his Championship debut for West Bromwich Albion in the 1-1 draw with Brentford at the Hawthorns.
O’Shea had appeared for the first team in the EFL Cup earlier this season, but Saturday was his first league outing since turning professional.

An injury to Kyle Bartley opened the door for the centre-back to enter the field in the 49th minute, and the WBA fans were delighted with his performance.
Meanwhile, looking beyond Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford, a number of the club’s supporters are excited at what the future might hold for the youngster.
O’Shea was actually an unused substitute in every Championship game for West Brom between August 3 and October 22 before a long spell out of the squad.
His appearance against Brentford would have come as a surprise to many, but the defender will now be hoping to be involved when West Brom, who remain top of the Championship table, take on Barnsley on Boxing Day.
Meanwhile, the club are believed to be interested in improving their attack next month with the signing of this player.
