[ad_pod ]Tottenham have been dealt a serious blow, amid news star striker Harry Kane will be out of action until March.
The England captain sustained a hefty knock to his ankle in the closing stages of the club’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester United – and it has now been confirmed that Kane’s damaged ligaments in his left ankle.
However, there are very limited options in the Spurs squad to replace the 25-year-old.
Fernando Llorente is the only fully fit senior striker, but has yet to start a Premier League game this season.
Vincent Janssen, currently working his way back to fitness with the club’s Under-23 squad, is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, and the Argentine’s mind is unlikely to change.
Dele Alli – who Transfermarkt value at £90million – is another option, which would require Pochettino to revert to a false nine system. Son-Heung Min previously played in that role, but the South Korea striker is currently on international duty.
