Sam Surridge delivered a remarkable four-goal performance as Nashville SC dismantled Chicago Fire FC 7-2 at GEODIS Park. The English striker scored twice in each half, demonstrating clinical finishing and positioning throughout the match. Following this standout display, Surridge was selected by the league as Player of the Matchday for Matchday 10 becoming the third Nashville player to receive the award after Hany Mukhtar (eight times) and Randall Leal, and the first Nashville star since Leal (Matchday 22 of the 2023 season) to win it.

Nashville SC dominated Chicago Fire FC in a 7-2 rout at GEODIS Park. Surridge led with four goals, while Hany Mukhtar contributed two goals and an assist with Jeison Palacios also on the scoresheet. Chicago's consolation goals came from Philip Zinckermagel and Hugo Cuypers in the 64th and 71st minutes, although Nashville already had a sizable lead by then.

Thanks to their commanding win, Nashville SC have moved into sixth place on the Eastern Conference table with 16 points after 10 league games. They sit six points behind conference leaders FC Cincinnati (22) and face Atlanta United away from home on May 3 before they return to Geodis Park to host Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in the US Open Cup on May 6.
