Marcus Rashford is set to take part in Manchester United's full pre-season campaign despite not being on speaking terms with head coach Ruben Amorim.

Rashford is due to report for pre-season training with United on Monday after ending his loan spell with Aston Villa at the end of May. He has been angling for a permanent move away from Old Trafford after falling out with Amorim. However, according to the out-of-favour striker expects to report for training as normal, even though he has not spoken to the United coach since leaving in January.

Rashford has spent a part of his summer break in Marbella getting sharp ahead of the new season. He is said to be feeling 'revitalised' and wants to stake his place in the team.

Amorim's preference was for all four of his unwanted wingers to have found new clubs in time for pre-season. However, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony are all still United players as no clubs thus far have made offers that the Red Devils are willing to accept.

Barcelona are the club that have shown the most interest in Rashford and the Catalan club is the forward's destination of choice. However, Barca are keener to sign him on loan than permanently although their plans could change after missing out on Nico Williams following the Spain international's decision to sign a 10-year contract with Athletic Club. Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring Rashford's situation. But the forward could be in action for United when they play against Leeds in Stockholm in their first pre-season game on July 19.
