Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag in the Manchester United hot-seat in November but has so far struggled to bring about the upturn in results expected at Old Trafford. Amorim's methods are said to have led to "growing concerns" in the dressing room that United will not improve unless the boss is willing to "tweak the system." However, Amorim has already stated publicly he has no intention of changing "as there is no second way." Former defender Gary Neville has also hinted a change of approach could be a good idea as "the more you lose, the more difficult it is to convince the players of the idea."
