There was plenty of late drama at Villa Park on Saturday as Unai Emery enjoyed a 1-0 win over his former side. John McGinn scored the only goal of the game in the seventh minute, but Arsenal saw a late effort chalked off for handball. Kai Havertz was penalised for the offense just before Eddie Nketiah poked home from close range. The German was left furious by the decision which was eventually given after a lengthy VAR check. The dramatic incident also saw Villa goalkeeper Martinez left with a bloodied face after being caught by a stray boot. The two players then squared moments later as tempers flared at Villa Park.
