AC Milan forward and Tottenham Hotspur target Suso has changed representation and hired a new agent, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
What’s the word?
The North London outfit have been linked to the ex-Liverpool player for some time.
Mauricio Pochettino is yet to bring in a new signing this summer, but he may feel encouraged that Suso has switched agents.
Tuttomercatoweb claims that the Spaniard, who has failed to agree a new contract at Milan, has hired Alessandro Lucci.
It is believed that the Italian club would consider selling Suso if the right offer comes in.
Why is this good news for Spurs?
Well, Lucci has been very busy in the transfer market so far this summer with his other clients.
He worked with Milan to help finalise Leonardo Bonucci’s switch from Juventus to the San Siro.
With a new agent by Suso’s side, it gives Tottenham the chance to open dialogue and revaluate the situation.
Publicly, though, it seems that the 23-year-old is not angling for a move away from the Serie A giants.
The attacker took to Instagram to reassure fans that his change in representation does not reflect a desire to seek pastures new.
IBTimes UK translated Suso’s caption to read:
“I decided to change agent and trust Alessandro Lucci. This does not mean in the most absolute way I want to leave Milan. I’m happy to play for this great club. Go Milan.”

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known not to pay over the odds for players, and he recently told the media that he is taking the same approach this summer.
If Milan intend to dig their heels in with regards to Suso’s price, then Spurs may walk away from a potential transfer.
