Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have joined forces with Birmingham investor Tom Brady to help support Los Angeles amid wildfires.

Wrexham will play host to Birmingham on Thursday night, with both clubs chasing promotion from League One. The Welsh club, helmed by Reynolds and McElhenney, are third, while Birmingham, where Brady is a minority shareholder, are top, five points clear. Despite an ongoing battle for position, both clubs have joined forces ahead of the 'Hollywood Derby', with the trio of board members all sharing the same message on Instagram.

The three have all shared a message from Cosm Los Angeles, a venue that allows fans to watch football matches on huge screens in an immersive environment. Cosm will be showing Wrexham's clash with Birmingham, and the screening will also feature a donation drive for the Los Angeles Fire Department, after their heroic battle against the wildfires that threatened to engulf the city.

Fans have been urged to bring "essential items" including bottled water, blankets, first aid kits, and portable chargers, among others. LA has been decimated by the recent natural disaster, with Cal Fire reporting via that 2,399 acres of land have been scorched by the fires.
