West Ham United were promised “the next level” when they were moved from their true home in Upton Park to London Stadium.
FFC has already suggested that this is a move that has backfired for David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady, but this can now be taken a step further.
With Manuel Pellegrini having been sacked following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of a weakened Leicester City side, David Moyes was appointed as the man to replace him.

This is the man who was dismissed after six months at the helm to be succeeded by the Chilean, having averaged just 1.19 points per game and managing a win rate of 29%.
It is becoming apparent that the promises made during the moving process were unrealistic and unattainable, but even if that is the case, to go back to Moyes makes a complete mockery of what fans were told.
There were exactly 24 hours and three minutes between the tweets confirming Pellegrini’s dismissal and Moyes’ appointment, indicating that this is something that had been planned.
Calling all Premier League experts: Who do these unique statistics belong to? Find out below….
This is not to say that the club could have recruited them, but there are various other managers who were out of contract at the moment Moyes’ face was plastered over West Ham’s Twitter page.
There was Leonardo Jardim and Niko Kovac among various others. Again, this is not to say that West Ham could definitely lure the former Champions League managers to the club, but there was surely somebody better out there in the world of football than the Scotsman, who hasn’t had a single managerial role outside of east London since his Sunderland debacle.
When his 18-month contract was confirmed, Sullivan said: “David proved in his short time with the club that he was capable of getting results.”
That is highly debatable when his aforementioned statistics in charge at West Ham are considered.
An attempt to paint this as an ambitious move is surely futile, while acting as a complete mockery of the promises made to West Ham fans when their club was moved from the Boleyn Ground.
In other news, one man’s performance against Leicester was a silver lining among the dark clouds.
