"I'll be completely honest, that was an Amazon Prime series… and it happens like that a lot with locker rooms, there's always micro-stories or things but this s**t was another level."
When asked about the stories of Bradley and Bernardeschi feuding over the Italian vaping in the locker room, the striker said: "This is where I challenged a lot of my teammates, and a lot of perspectives, because that seems simple, right? It's like, bro: 'just don't vape,' but if that person is just someone who decides they're gonna do what they're gonna do, then at the end of the day, well, I guess he's just gonna do that."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
In the early part of the 2023 campaign, the Italy international took aim at Bob Bradley's tactics, which were then followed by a blockbuster report from that the attacker was 'admonished' for using a vape pen in club facilities. The pair continued to clash, with Bernardeschi ridiculing their training sessions, in-game tactics and more up until his sacking on June 27.
