Liverpool have been transformed into serious Premier League title contenders this season under Jurgen Klopp, but the Reds could be left worried by reports that Barcelona are considering making a move for the German.
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, the Catalan giants have placed Klopp on a list of possible replacements for Luis Enrique, whose future at Camp Nou is rumoured to be in doubt.
The report claims that the 46-year-old, who has won eight trophies since becoming manager in 2014, could leave his post at the end of the season.
Barca have only lost twice in La Liga this season, but there are extremely high expectations on the club and they currently sit three points adrift of arch rivals Real Madrid, who lead the standings with an unbeaten record.
Klopp has reportedly emerged as a potential successor to Enrique, but it would cost Barcelona some dough to seal him as he signed a six-year contract with Liverpool earlier this season.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has guided Liverpool to 13 wins out of 20 in the Premier League and they sit on just on the shoulders of Chelsea in the title race.
The team have also scored the most goals (48) in the division so far, so to lose Klopp would be a hammer blow to the Merseyside outfit.
It would be a huge shock if the move came to fruition, but if Barcelona do come calling, it would be difficult for any manager not to consider it.
