Bayern lose 4-1 to BarcelonaKane opens up on disappointing lossSays Bayern got carried away during clashFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?
Barcelona were on song as they hosted Bayern Munich at the Estadi Olimpic and cruised to a 4-1 win despite the Bavarians enjoying over 60 per cent of possession on the night. Barcelona captain Raphinha gave the hosts an early lead before Kane brought Vincent Kompany's side level. However, Bayern were unable to build on the goal as Hansi Flick's side scored two more before the half-time whistle.

Bayern gained more control in the second half of the clash but weren't able to threaten Inaki Pena's goal despite creating a number of attacks against Barcelona's extremely high defensive line. Raphinha scored his third of the night in the 56th minute and doomed Bayern to their second straight loss in the Champions League, and Kane has now spoken about the disappointing result in Catalonia.
GettyWHAT KANE SAID
Speaking to the media, Kane said: "Conceding three away from home in the first half wasn't a great start for us. We had a spell in the first half when we looked really dangerous, but Barcelona played well, and we didn't exploit the time when we were better. Then we got punished in transitions
We have to go away and learn from this. I think there was a moment for us when we looked dangerous, but perhaps we got a bit carried away trying to play the final ball too quickly, and if we'd used more possession instead of rushing it, we'd have made better chances. But there's no need to panic – it's about learning and being better next time."
WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN?
Der Rekordmeister are currently 23rd in the Champions League league stage table and will hope to rise up the rankings when they face their next European opposition in the form of Benfica at the Allianz Arena on November 6.
