Hardie scored the winning goal for the Pilgrims in the 53rd minute as Plymouth shocked Premier League leaders Liverpool with a 1-0 win at Home Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Plymouth, who have now beaten Brentford and the Reds in back-to-back FA Cup fixtures, will find out their opponents after the draw for the fifth round is conducted on Monday night.

While manager Miron Muslic does not have a preference for their opponents for the next round, Hardie is looking forward to taking on another big team, with his sights set on Ruben Amorim's team. United progressed to the fifth round after Harry Maguire's late winner helped them beat Leicester City 2-1 on Friday.

Speaking to reporters after the win over the Reds, the 27-year-old forward said: "I want Manchester United. Bring them here. This day will be cemented in this club’s history, in this city’s history. It’s something we will never forget. When you start your career these are the days you dream of."
